In late August 2010, STS/RLS Logistics completed the project on transportation of electric equipment for substations for the ski resort, which will be commissioned in November 2010.
In July 2010, the logistics operator signed a contract with Electron on freight forwarding services and door-to-door cargo delivery.
The work started on July 1, 2010. The cargo was shipped by three consignments, including Novosibirsk - Sochi - Krasnaya Polyana, Omsk - Roza Khutorov, Novosibirsk - Sochi Poza Khutorov. Basically, this is about a high-voltage equipment and package transformer substations weighing over 45 tons each with the size 6×6 meters. On the whole, the company delivered more than 9 auto trains and 10 railcars with equipment.
On completion of this project the management of Electron signed a long-term contract with STS/RLS Logistics on delivery of electric equipment for substations to other Olympic facilities in Sochi.
