The piston pumps were shipped from Saint-Petersburg port to Dubai. Although this is an oversized cargo, it was shipped in containers in flat trucks to United Arab Emirates. Such terminals of Saint-Petersburg port as Rusmarine-Forwarding and First Container Terminal were involved in the operations.
The pumps, which were manufactured by Uralmashzavod, were delivered by rail to Rusmarine-Forwarding in early August. Each pump weighs more than 25 tons.
The terminal transshipped pumps via the warehouse from the flat cars on the 20' flat trucks. When delivered the cargo was removed from the flat car and placed in open area. Then, the pumps were put on the flat trucks. They were exported to First Container Terminal on August 26 by road transport.
The flat trucks were shipped by container carrier "CMA CGM Volga" on August 29. The cargo will be transshipped in Port of Zeebrugge.
The project was ordered by FMG Shipping & Forwarding. OMZ FZ is the consignee in Jebel Ali, UAE.
